L'\u00e9quipe de sant\u00e9 du Centre-Ouest de l'Ontario (ESO CW) est heureuse d'annoncer que la Dre Christine Cho a \u00e9t\u00e9 choisie comme nouvelle responsable des soins primaires pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es, jouant un r\u00f4le essentiel dans la promotion de la collaboration entre les prestataires communautaires de soins aux personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es, en particulier celles qui souffrent de fragilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 propos du Dr Christine Cho <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Dre Christine Cho est une m\u00e9decin de famille qui travaille en m\u00e9decine familiale compl\u00e8te depuis dix ans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle a termin\u00e9 ses \u00e9tudes de m\u00e9decine \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 de Calgary et sa r\u00e9sidence en m\u00e9decine familiale \u00e0 l'Universit\u00e9 McMaster de Brampton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

En plus des soins en cabinet, le Dr Cho fournit \u00e9galement des soins palliatifs \u00e0 domicile et est particuli\u00e8rement passionn\u00e9e par la prestation de soins de qualit\u00e9 \u00e0 ses patients dans la communaut\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle se consacre \u00e9galement \u00e0 la formation de la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de m\u00e9decins de famille, notamment en supervisant des \u00e9tudiants en m\u00e9decine. La Dre Cho est actuellement mentore en soins palliatifs pour le site de Brampton de l'Universit\u00e9 McMaster en m\u00e9decine familiale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 propos du r\u00f4le<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le nouveau responsable des soins primaires pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es du CW OHT jouera un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans le renforcement de la collaboration entre les prestataires communautaires pour soutenir les soins aux personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es, en particulier celles qui vivent avec fragilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 ce poste, le Dr Cho agira en tant que copr\u00e9sident du comit\u00e9 de planification des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es du CW OHT et dirigera l'\u00e9laboration et la mise en \u0153uvre d'un plan pluriannuel pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le r\u00f4le consistera notamment \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre les initiatives int\u00e9gr\u00e9es du plan et d\u2019autres programmes pour personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es d\u00e9j\u00e0 mis en \u0153uvre, tels que le Programme SOINS<\/a>, qui fournit des soins interdisciplinaires complets aux personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es confin\u00e9es \u00e0 domicile et en situation de fragilit\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le\/La responsable des soins primaires pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es apportera son expertise clinique et collaborera avec le secr\u00e9tariat de l'\u00e9quipe de sant\u00e9 de l'Ontario et ses principaux partenaires, selon les besoins. Il\/Elle assurera \u00e9galement la liaison avec le r\u00e9seau de soins primaires de la Colombie-Britannique et son conseil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
