Mental Health and Addictions

Supporting mental health and addictions is one of the strategic priorities of the Central West OHT. Mental health and addiction challenges can affect anyone, at any stage of life. Stigma, barriers to care, and limited resources often prevent individuals from seeking the help they need. The Central West OHT is committed to improving access to integrated, person-centered care that meets people where they are—whether they need early intervention, crisis support, or long-term management.

By working together with healthcare providers, community organizations, and those with lived experience, we strive to create a more connected and compassionate system of care. Our goal is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to timely, equitable, and high-quality mental health and addiction services.

On this page, you’ll find the Canadian Mental Health Association Peel Dufferin’s Quick Guide in 7 of the top languages for our community. This quick guide includes several community resources related to mental health and addictions, and how to access these services.
